About the service

What is Gator Grocery?

Gator Grocery is a web app that helps shoppers find local grocery deals by ZIP code, compare nearby store offers, build a Shopping List, and organize a what-to-buy-where Shopping Plan.

How does Gator Grocery find deals near me?

Enter a ZIP code and choose a search radius. Gator Grocery uses that market context to discover available nearby stores and verified deal sources, then organizes current offers in the deal browser.

Does Gator Grocery show every grocery store?

No. Coverage depends on which retailers and deal sources can be reliably connected and verified for your market. Nearby stores can exist even when an automated deal feed is not yet available.

Deals and price comparison

Are the prices guaranteed?

No. Grocery prices, stock, loyalty requirements, coupon rules, quantities, and participation can change. Gator Grocery is a comparison and planning tool; confirm the final offer with the retailer before checkout.

How are expired deals handled?

Expired promotions are excluded from the normal current-deals view. When available, older observed prices can still contribute to Price History instead of being presented as active sales.

Can I compare more than one store?

Yes. When multiple verified local sources are available for your market, the deal browser lets you search and organize their offers together. Shopping Plan can then group selected items by store.

Does Gator Grocery compare exact store locations?

Where the data source supports location-specific pricing, Gator Grocery keeps store context attached to the offer. Unverified national pricing is not treated as a guaranteed local store price.

Shopping List and Shopping Plan

What is the difference between Shopping List and Shopping Plan?

Shopping List is where you keep the items and deals you want. Shopping Plan organizes those choices into a practical store-by-store view so you can decide what to buy where.

Do I have to choose only sale items?

No. Your shopping list can reflect what you actually need. Sale items can be added when useful, but the goal is to improve the whole trip rather than force every purchase to match a promotion.

What does Price History show?

When enough past observations exist, Price History provides context for how an item or offer has changed over time. It should not be treated as a promise of future pricing.
